It has been an honor to serve as your District 3 representative on the Wake County School Board. I wish to thank everyone who supported me in my campaign in 2022. I am grateful for the chance to work on behalf of our students, families, and staff. Public education has played an important part in molding me, and being on the board has been my way of giving back to public education.
We are truly blessed to have such a great public school system in Wake County. Our nationally ranked schools and innovative programs provide a solid foundation for the future. At the core are the dedicated teachers and staff who work tirelessly and selflessly to teach the children.
Still, there is plenty of room for improvement. The challenges that WCPSS faces as a result of population growth and rising operational cost will require steady leadership. I hope to continue on as your representative on the Wake County School Board, because there is a lot more work to be done. I would appreciate your feedback as we try to tackle these challenges head on. We need to work together to raise up the Next Generation that is prepared for the future.
